Biography for J. Thomas Chute
Tom Chute is a 1990 graduate of St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York and a 1993 graduate of DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois.  For over 15 years Mr. Chute has been a highly successful trial attorney.  He has obtained outstanding results in cases involving product liability, construction negligence, premises liability, FELA and transportation negligence.

For more than a decade, Mr. Chute served as a partner in two major Chicago law firms specializing in civil trials.  He has tried numerous cases to verdict and has obtained multimillion-dollar settlements on behalf of injured clients.   His practical and common sense approach to each case has earned him a reputation as one of the finest litigators in the Chicago area.

Mr. Chute is a frequent speaker at legal seminars, professional organizations and law schools in Illinois, including the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education, National Business Institute and DePaul Law School.  His lectures and presentations include the following:
